I and Sanjeev anna travelled to South Korea to present our paper on IKS titled “SHIFT IN TEACHER’S PERSPECTIVES IN MATHEMATICS BASED ON INTERVENTIONS ON INDIAN KNOWLEDGE SYSTEMS AND DISTINCTIONS BETWEEN EMPIRICAL AND FORMAL MATHEMATICS” at EARCOME9 conference. I had a great experience travelling overseas for the first time and learned a lot. Following are my key learnings at the conference.

Kyunhong supported us in finding an accommodation in Korea. We were been accommodated by a community school. They were so kind and loving. We felt as if we were at home. We had a community dinner and had a meeting with the leader of the community and shared about Auroville as they were also planning to come to Auroville with their students . It was a great sharing as it was more deeper and value based. 1
