STEM LAND 10th Anniversary- Sharing Our Research Booklets

For the STEM Land 10th Anniversary celebration, we shared the research papers published in our office by organizing them into three main themes:

1. Attitudes and Agency
2. Learning Methodology
3. Teachers and Higher Education

Many visitors at the event showed great interest in reading our booklets. They mentioned that the content would be useful for their schools, educational research, and personal learning. Some even requested copies, so we collected their email addresses and shared digital versions for their reference.

It was inspiring to see how our work reached and motivated others in the education community. Creating and sharing these booklets not only deepened our learning but also helped us inspire others to engage in research, documentation, and collaborative growth. Children also inspired and read our research booklets.

Research Booklet Creation Experience: Sandhiya BalaAnand

I personally worked on creating the booklets for the research papers. Each theme had its own booklet, and My Steward and I were inspired by the SAIIER School Policy Book, observing how they structured and designed their materials. With help from Arun, who had worked on the SAIIER, I learned how to merge multiple research paper PDFs and arrange them into a booklet format.

For printing, Sivaguru supported me, how to use the canvas to design he booklet’s front and back page design. He supported me in using Canva to design the research paper modules, including front and back covers, and printed them on glossy sheets. Through this process, I gained hands-on experience in booklet design, layout, and presentation.

Currently, I have prepared a Research booklet for Stemland’s 10th Anniversary, taking accountability for setting up a research stall, printing research posters, and presenting the stall. This experience has helped me develop valuable skills -from creative design and digital layout to organizing and presenting research work effectively.
