Visual Mathematics Stall Preparation with Polypad – STEM Land Birthday

I set up a stall on Visual Mathematics using Polypad with the children from Isai Ambalam School. I prepared topics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, Integers using the number line, prime factors, algebraic equations, area and perimeter, bar charts, and LCM. I created Polypad projects for each topic, saved them, and made documentation explaining each concept. These were placed in a pouch so that anyone interested in a specific topic could easily explore and understand it.

We set up three tables, and at each table, two students took charge of explaining the concepts to visitors. The children practiced beforehand, understood the ideas deeply, and were eager to share their learning.

It was inspiring to see their confidence, teamwork, and enthusiasm as they explained mathematical ideas through visuals and activities. The stall not only showcased their learning but also made mathematics engaging and enjoyable for everyone who visited.

During the preparation, I felt very happy and more involved. Working with the children, discussing ideas, and practicing together helped me connect deeply with the concepts. I enjoyed seeing how the children learned with excitement and confidence. This experience made me realize how joyful and meaningful learning can be when we explore together.

I acknowledge the children for their amazing support at the stall. I saw the quality of full potential, creativity, and courage they showed while preparing and explaining the concepts. Their energy and dedication inspired me, and I will use them in my life.
