-SandhiyaBala

My Name is Sandhiya Bala, and I deeply care about Courage, care, and Happiness for myself and others. I was teaching Math and EVS for 5th grade in ISAI Ambalam School.

During the STEM land 10th anniversary celebration, our children received a wonderful opportunity to show their projects and talents. I asked the class who would like to participate and what they wanted to present. I felt very happy because every child decided to take part and make use of this opportunity.

The children were excited, curious, and proud of their own projects. They also took turns visiting other stalls, exploring the projects presented by other graders, asking questions, and learning new things. This helped them understand different ideas, appreciate others’ efforts, and discover new ways to experiment and create.

What the Children Presented:

  • Craft_Stall
Ardhana – She was interested in craftwork and supported the craft stall.
She showed courage by explaining the items she made.
  • Scratch_Programming-Multiplication_Game
Yamini and Kanishka -They demonstrated a multiplication game they created in Scratch. They explained how the game worked and how it helped children learn math in a fun way.
  • Science Experiment — Balloon Inflation with Baking Soda & Vinegar
Lakeeshwaren, Farook, Kanishkar, and DhakshinThey performed an experiment showing how a balloon inflated when baking soda reacted with vinegar to form carbon dioxide gas.
  • Simple-DC_Motor
Harshad, Kaushik, Nitheeshwaren, and Kamelesh – They made a simple DC motor and explained how electricity and magnets worked together to make the motor spin.

My Reflection

I am proud of my children. They took initiative, prepared well, helped each other, and presented confidently. They used this opportunity to learn, share, and grow. This event showed us that learning becomes more meaningful when we share it with others. The children learned to be responsible, creative, and brave.

Seeing them shine on the stall was a beautiful moment. Their confidence and joy inspired me and everyone around.
